Camarillo Real Estate! Who is the sellers agent and who is the buyers agent? This is another confusing part of the real estate sales process. When selling your home the agent whom you sign the listing contract is the selling agent because he is, well, selling your home. The agent that brings the buyer and walks them around your home showing it and eventually writes an offer is the "buyers" agent. When you hear an agent say that they "sold" the home but in fact the "buyers" agent sold it who's correct? Who can claim the sale as "their sale"? This rule as others is governed by the multiple listing service rules, which basically says if you listed the home for sale or you represented the sellers in selling there home then you have the right to claim the sale! The buyers agent can only promote the sale with language that is consistent to what they did which is "represented the buyer". In the video above you will see how the Multiple Listing Service reports the sales. You will also see who is really selling homes in your area and why paying more than one percent to sell your home is no longer a viable option, unless you like giving away your hard earned money. Most real estate offices will not show you what I show in the video, why? because it's the truth and they will try very hard to justify that selling your home for one percent is "you get what you pay for" type of offer but, beware that we do all of the marketing (see marketing) if not more than what most real estate offices do. We also offer you a guarantee that if we can't sell your home in ninety days we guarantee a large name brand company will take your listing for one percent.
